Overall, the game has been expertly adapted for the PC and extends the fun by adding the ability to create your own beatmaps. Using the mouse to follow the beat is much different than using a stylus. Even though this version plays just like the original, it seems to be more challenging playing on the PC compared to the Nintendo DS. While it is kind of annoying to have to go to the official forum and download them, it does provide you with the opportunity to download the songs you like. However, the game does not come with any beatmaps. One difference with Osu! is that it comes with online rankings and even an editor to create your own levels, or beatmaps. This PC platform is a great remake and works just like the original title it is cloned after. However, this clone has a few added extras you won’t find on the originals. The well-known Japanese rhythm game for the Nintendo DS now has a clone available for the PC, Osu? As with the original version, Osu! challenges you to follow the beat of various songs. WebMania is a version of the osumania game mode of osu developed to be played in web browsers, without the need to download anything.
